The can adapter, needle and check valve are all made with a non-stick coating, to make it easier to clean the gun. You'll save money on both the gun and the cost of material, as you won't have to throw away partially used cans. It also eliminates the common problem of post-dispensing drip, one of the biggest nuisances of working with any sealant. The gun has a stainless steel barrel for longer life and is cleanable after every use. There are also specialized versions of this product available for pest blocking, sealing doors & windows and for sealing walls & floors. You'll also find that it's easier to control the sealant by using the gun. While the cost of the gun makes the overall cost higher, if you use a foam sealant regularly or even occasionally, the savings on materials makes it worthwhile.
This saves on sealant, as unfinished cans can be removed and resealed for later use.
Best gasket seal maker pro#
The pro version doesn't come with a nozzle, but rather is designed to work with a separate gun that has an integral nozzle. As a crack sealer, this one doesn't expand as much as some of the other versions. Specifically formulated as a gap filer, this foam sealant is idea for places where walls don't meet, cracks that have formed in masonry or around windows and doors, where there is no insulation. This is the pro grade, although the same sealant comes in a disposable can. Dow Corning provides a canned foam sealant in two different grades a consumer grade and a commercial "pro" grade.
